Bearing replacement intervals

The motor and fan unit has two bearings, one in the upper part of the motor and one in the
lower part of the fan. These are to be replaced after approximately 20,000 hours of operation.
If working temperatures regularly reaches 40 °C (104 °F), this is to be reduced to 15,000 hours.
In any case, the bearings are to be replaced every 5 years. See the fan manual for more
information about bearing and grease types.
The bearings are a standard type. Contact Nederman or an authorized Nederman distributor
for replacement of the bearings.
Old grease is to be removed and new grease used. The grease is to meet the DIN 51825-K2N
40, SKF LGHP 2 or FAG Arcanol Multitop standards.
