8.0 -

BUFFER/PULSED CHARGE

8.1 -

Buffer charge

Automatic phase entered at the end of the previously mentioned phases
(BATTERY ATTACHED and SLOW BATTERY), when the tool considers the charge
main phase over.
If the battery remains connected to the battery charger the message BUFFER (ON) is
shown.
In this condition – until the pressure of the STOP button - an Holding voltage and
current are supplied to the battery to compensate for the self-discharge.

If the STOP button is pressed the charge terminates and the initial menu is
entered.
8.2 -

Pulsed charge

Automatic phase
(BATTERY DETACHED), when the tool considers the charge main phase over.
If the battery remains connected to the battery charger the message PULS. (ON) is
shown.
In this condition – until the pressure of the STOP button a duly modulated pulse
charge is supplied to the battery to equalise and keep the battery elements charged.
•
If the STOP button is pressed the charge terminates and the initial menu is
entered.
