USE OF THE BATTERY CHARGER

Switch ON
•
Connect the power cord (11) to the 230 V power supply and press the I/0 switch
to switch ON the battery charger.
NOTA BENE:
If the battery charger is not powered or plugged to the power supply and the
connecting tongs are attached to a charged battery the display shows the message
ATTENTION! POWER MISSING.
If the switch ON phase is performed correctly the display shows the presentation page
showing the message BATTERY CHARGER POWER SUPPLY.
Two seconds later the initial menu is shown:
Afterwards, if no button is pressed within 5 seconds the menu SELECT BATTERY is
shown together with the type of voltage of the battery to be selected: 6 V, 12 V, 24 V
and M1.
NOTA BENE:
M1 is to recall a type of battery whose charge profile was previously stored in the
SETUP menu (see chapter 2.2), without needing to reselect each time the charge
parameters. This function is useful for the recharge in sequence of several batteries
with the same features.

Select the tested battery voltage by the cursor shift buttons (7) and press
ENTER (5) to display the TYPE OF CHARGE menu.
The type of charge can be carried out in several ways:
•
Battery attached: in this phase the Battery is attached to the on board power
supply thus determining a battery recharge and maintaining charge without any
voltage and current peaks to safeguard the on board electronics. It is useful for
workshop repairs, pre-delivery of vehicles at the Dealers and the Showroom.
