TF bench alignment
► Observe the information in the prosthetic knee joint instructions for use.

5.2.2 Static Alignment

Ottobock recommends fitting the prosthesis using the L.A.S.A.R. Pos
ture.
If necessary, the alignment recommendations (TF modular leg pros
theses: 646F219*, TT modular leg prostheses: 646F336*) may be
requested from Ottobock.

5.2.3 Dynamic Trial Fitting

Adapt the setup of the prosthesis in the frontal plane and the sagittal
plane (e.g. by making angle or slide adjustments) so that correct heel
contact and optimal roll-over are ensured.
TT fittings:Make sure that physiological knee movement is achieved
after the heel makes impact and the leg begins to bear weight.

5.3 Optional: Installing the foam cover

The connection cap serves as a detachable connection between the foam
cover and footshell, and snaps precisely into the proximal brim of the foot
shell.
Required materials: 634A58 isopropyl alcohol, 636N9 contact adhesive
>
or 636W17 plastic adhesive
1) Cut the foam cover to length according to the patient's measurements,
allowing for distal compression of about 1 cm for transtibial foam covers
and of about 4 cm for transfemoral foam covers.
2) Pull the foam cover over the prosthesis.
3) Join the connection cap to the footshell and mount the prosthetic foot.
4) Mark the outer contours of the connection cap on the distal face of the
foam cover.
5) Dismount the prosthetic foot and remove the connection cap from the
footshell.
6) Clean the connection cap with isopropyl alcohol.
7) Glue the connection cap to the face of the foam cover as marked and
allow the glued joint to set (approx. 10 minutes).
8) Mount the prosthetic foot and adapt the exterior cosmetic cover shape.
Take into account compression due to cosmetic stockings or SuperSkin.
6 Cleaning
1) Clean the product with a damp, soft cloth.
2) Dry the product with a soft cloth.
3) Allow to air dry in order to remove residual moisture.
