1 GENERAL INTRODUCTION

Palazzetti heating appliances are built and tested
in compliance with the safety requirements indi-
cated in the reference European directives.
Printing, translation and even partial reproduc-
tion of this manual require prior authorization
from Palazzetti. Technical information, graphics
and specifications included in this manual are
confidential and must not be disclosed.
Do not operate unless all the information provid-
ed in the manual is fully understood; if in doubt,
always ask for advice or intervention by special-
ised Palazzetti personnel.
Palazzetti reserves the right to modify the spec-
ifications and technical and/or functional prop-
erties of the product at any time without prior
notice.

1.1 Symbols

Items of particular importance are highlighted in
this manual by the following symbols:
Indication: Indications concerning the
correct use of the product and the re-
sponsibilities of persons in charge.
Caution: Indicates an item of particular
importance.
Hazard: Indicates an important note on
behaviour, to prevent accidents or mate-
rial damage.

1.2 Intended use

The Palazzetti Termopalex HWT series is
a residential heating appliance and can
only be installed and used in homes. The
structure is entirely made of metal, with
a stove enclosed by ceramic glass, and is
suitable for burning logs.
The appliance must only be used with
the stove door closed.
The appliance is not intended for use by children
under the age of 8 or persons whose physical,
sensory or mental capacities are impaired or who
or lack experience or knowledge, unless they re-
ceive surveillance or instruction concerning the
use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
The indicated use is valid only for appliances with
full structural, mechanical and system efficiency.

lacking or unsuitable by Palazzetti as a result
