a. no battery inserted into the charger, or the "2/4" option switch is not in the correct position;
B. Batteries are not inserted correctly; please see Fig. 1;
c. Battery connected with reverse-polarity.
d. Battery defective.
4. end of charge: the led "charge/ready" illuminates steady green to indicate the batteries are fully
charged. Batteries can be taken out and are ready for use. remove the mains adaptor or cigarette
plug from the power source at end of charging. Follow the process from step 1 to charge a new set
of batteries.
note: working temperature for charger: 20-25.

socket if used in a vehicle and not in use;
8. never use an extension cord or any attachment not recommended by manufacturer, otherwise this may
result in a risk of fire, electric shock or injury to persons;
9. do not operate the charger if it has been subjected to shock or damage. take it to a qualified service
centre for repair;
10. not recommended for use by children;
11. do not attempt to disassemble the charger. incorrect reassembly may result in a risk of
electric shock or fire;
12. unplug the charger from the outlet before attempting any mai ntenance or cleaning. clean
only with a dry cloth.
