tended period is not activated, the electric discharge
might be low when using them the first and second
time. This is a temporary phenomenon, and normal
capacity will be restored by recharging the batteries
2 – 3 times.
How to make the batteries perform longer.
(1) Recharge the batteries before they become com-
pletely exhausted.
When you feel that the power of the tool becomes
weaker, stop using the tool and recharge its battery.
If you continue to use the tool and exhaust the
electric current, the battery may be damaged and
its life will become shorter.
(2) Avoid recharging at high temperatures.
A rechargeable battery will be hot immediately after
use. If such a battery is recharged immediately after
use, its internal chemical substance will deteriorate,
and the battery life will be shortened. Leave the
battery and recharge it after it has cooled for a
while.
CAUTION
If the battery has been heated just after operation
(or due to sunlight, etc.), the charger's pilot lamp
will not light up. In such a case, first let the battery
cool, then start charging.
When the pilot lamp frickers quickly (at 0.2-second
intervals), check for and take out any foreign objects
in the charger's battery installation hole. If there are
no foreign objects, it is probable that the battery
or charger is malfunctioning. Take it to your author-
ized Service center.
HOOK INSTALLATION
(1) Insert the hook into the A section of the main body
then turn it clockwise to set the clearance between
the housing and hook to the appropriate position.
Tighten the nut clockwise to fix the hook securely.
(Fig. 4)
(2) The hook can be hung on your belt or on a pipe
with a diameter of up to 18 mm.

NOTE
If the dust from the plaster adheres to the attachment
installation gate, it makes the attachment difficult
to remove. Clean the installation gate so the plaster
dust does not adhere.
2. Screw feed attachment installation
Perform the installation procedures in the reverse
sequence of the removal procedures.
Position the screw feed attachment over the main
body and align the "@" mark of the main body and
the "# "mark of the screw feed attachment then turn
the attachment in the direction of the "fi "mark
shown in Fig. 6 to fix it.
3. Driver bit installation and removal
Collate screw tightening cannot be performed except
by the genuine driver bits for Model WF4DY.
Install the bit securely by the following procedures.
Move the guide sleeve to the top edge, insert the
bit into the hexagonal hole of the anvil and then
release the guide sleeve. (Fig. 7)
When removing the bit, perform the installation
procedures in the reverse order.
