For those whose systolic pressure is over 150 mmHg
1. Fasten the cuff around your wrist.
Raise your arm so that the cuff is at the same level
as your heart.
2. Press and hold the START button until the memory
data appears on the display.
3. Release the START button.
4. Press and hold the START button again until a
number about 30 to 40 mmHg higher than your
expected systolic pressure appears.
5. When the desired number is reached, release the
START button. Measurement will begin.
Note)
The operation above is required only when you measure your blood pressure for
the first time. Next time, the UB-401 will provide an appropriate inflation. So,
measure your blood pressure as described on page 6.
Recalling Memory Data
Note)
This device stores the last thirty measurements in memory
automatically. The data is retained as long as the batteries
are in the device. When you remove the batteries or the
batteries are drained, the data will be erased.
1. Press and hold the START button until the memory
data appears on the display.
2. The newest data appears. First, the Memory
Number, then its data.
3. The memorized data appears automatically one
after the other, from the most recent to oldest (i.e.
30, 29, 28 ... 3, 2, 1).
After the last data appears, the display goes blank.
Note)
Pressing the START button while the memory
data is displayed will cause the UB-401 to start
