Note:
If the cylinder is not properly installed, there is a risk of injury or damage!
An incorrectly installed cylinder may come loose in service and damage other parts of the
system or injure personnel.
Check carefully that all components are securely fixed.
Risk of crushing or impact!
If compressed air is wrongly connected, the shuttle may move in the wrong direction or be
pushed along very fast, with a great risk of causing injury or damage.
Check that the compressed air supply is connected to the correct port.
Check that all ports are connected or plugged.
To prevent cylinder runaway when starting, increase the pressure slowly and use speed
control.
Make sure that there is no-one in the risk area when the compressed air is turned on.

Commissioning
The cylinder may only be commissioned by a specialist in
pneumatics or by a person under the control and supervision
of such a specialist (see "Personnel qualifications" on
page 40).
CAUTION
The protective plugs must be left in the cylinder ports until the
compressed air lines are connected.
Before commissioning, check by pulling the shuttle by hand
with the cylinder vented that the shuttle is not stiff to move,
does not move unevenly or stick on the way along the stroke of
the cylinder.
