Risk of injury or damage in case of incorrect installation!
Incorrectly installed components may come loose in service and damage other parts of the
system, or injure personnel.
Check carefully that all components are securely fixed.
Check that both the stops on Drehantriebs with adjustable stops are mounted. Unless
both stops are mounted the rotary wing may be damaged when hitting the internal stop.
See "Fitting the adjustable stop" on page 40.
Risk of crushing!
The shaft and any components connected to the shaft of the Drehantrieb may move in an
uncontrolled way when compressed air is connected, with a risk of causing injury or damage.
Make sure that the air pressure is increased slowly at commissioning.
Make sure that there is no-one in the risk area when the compressed air is turned on.
Make sure that no person or objects may reach moving components during operation.
Use a protective shield or similar if required.

Commissioning

Commissioning may only be performed by a specialist in
pneumatics or by a person under the control and supervision
of such a specialist (see "Personnel qualifications", page 32).
CAUTION
Before commissioning, check that the actuator is not stiff to
rotate, does not move unevenly or get stuck between end
positions, by turning the shaft by hand with the air ports
vented.
