b. Wiring of the control unit
Refer to the page 42 for the general electrical diagram (with accessories).
Warning! Take care
identify the position of the
motor head (RH or LH) to
correctly terminate the black
and brown direction wires.
Take the two aerials from the packaging and connect them to the unit
(See entry point and terminals in top left hand corner). Make sure that the
aerials are not touching and that they po int in opposite directions (one up
and one down parallel with the side of the control unit).
Hold the control unit against the wall and mark the position of the fixing
holes. Using the installation kit (other hardware might be necessary
depending on the wall material), secure the control unit to the wall.
The unit must be installed with the courtesy light holder at the top.
Warning! The distance from the control unit to the Safety Edge
Transmitter must be less than 4 meters.
Warning! The FREEROLL control unit is supplied with a 2.50 meters
supply cable . Try to ensure that a power socket is situated within
this distance.
Reminder! Mount the unit on the same side of the door as the Safety
Edge Transmitter and Magnets.

Disconnect the motor from the test
lead.
Warning! Check that the FREEROLL
is not connected to the Mains.
Connect the 4- wires from the motor to
the FREEROLL terminals as indicated
opposite.
