Edge protection and clamps
Fitting the screen to the motorcycle:
1. Place the motorcycle on a flat surface.
2. Dismount the original windshield.
3. Insert the two shorter screws with washers into the lower holes in the new
windshield.
4. Place the shorter spacer sleeves onto the ends of the screws from inside the
windshield.
5. Position the windshield on the fairing and screw in the screws with approx. two turns.
6. Insert the longer screws with washers into the upper holes in the windshield and
place the longer spacer sleeves onto the ends of the screws.
7. Fasten all screws - do not tighten them too much.
Important: Use the long screws and spacer sleeves on the upper holes, the short ones
on the lower holes.
8. Fit the edge protector strip onto the screen. Place the end sleeves over the end of the
edge protector strip and gently squeeze the sleeves with a pair of pliers to secure the
edge protector strip.
After installation, check that all of the screws are tight; tighten them up if necessary. Repeat this at
regular intervals. Clean the screen with water, neutral soap and a sponge. Do not use solvents, alcohol or
