USA standard caller ID:
• With this option selected, the BDU will generate caller ID sig-
nals via PSTN interface (RJ11 ports) as per the Bellcore stan-
dard. All analog phones, compliant to Bellcore standard,
connected to the RJ11 ports, will be able to receive and display
Type-I Caller-ID.
Europe standard caller ID:
• With this option selected, the BDU will generate caller ID sig-
nals via PSTN interface (RJ11 ports) as per the ETSI standard.
All analog phones, compliant to ETSI standard, connected to
the RJ11 ports, will be able to receive and display Type-I Caller-
ID.
Voice/Fax Port Settings
Please be informed that 3.1KHz audio is intended for Facsimile (Fax)
communications and it is recommended to be used only for facsimile (fax)
calls but not for normal voice calls because, the call
charge/minute for 3.1KHz audio is expected to be significantly higher
Operation of multiple Voice/Fax equipment
connected to the Terminal
When all the voice/fax ports (PHONE port, FAX port, RJ45 port for
Primary Handset and the Extension PHONE port) are connected with
than that of the standard voice call.
