Transferring audio data using SonicStage
You can transfer audio data from a computer to a disc in the drive, and
then play the disc on other components that can play MDs.
Starting up SonicStage
Make sure to connect the drive to the computer before starting up
SonicStage.

Insert a disc and connect the drive to the
computer.
Refer to "Storing computer data (Data Storage)" (page 13) for
details.

Select [Start]
[SonicStage]
*[Programs] in the case of Windows 2000 Professional/Windows
Millennium Edition/Windows 98 Second Edition
SonicStage starts up and the main window appears.

You can also start up SonicStage by double-clicking
on the desktop.
Note
This drive cannot be used to play discs. If a disc in Hi-MD mode is inserted in
the drive, audio data can be played back through the computer's speaker
system when SonicStage is used. However, sound output from discs in MD
mode is not supported from either this drive or on the computer.
