Storing data to a disc
Storing computer data (Data Storage)
When you insert a disc in Hi-MD mode into the drive and connect it to a
computer, it will appear in Windows Explorer as an external data storage
drive, allowing you to copy data from the computer to a disc. If the disc
contains material recorded in MD mode, the drive will not be recognized
as an external data storage device.
If you insert a blank 60/74/80-minute disc, the disc will be automatically
used in Hi-MD mode.
