Troubleshooting
Solution
Have the vacuum gauge replaced (Fes-
tool Service).
Have vacuum pump repaired or serviced
(Festool Service).
Check connections for leaks.
Replace the air filter.
Usage prohibited. Vacuum cannot be
attained, expect device malfunction!
Have the slide valve replaced (Festool
Service).
Connect the clamping unit.
Close the shut-off valve (see Preparing
for use ).
Position the clamping unit correctly on
the base surface.
Use a suitable base.
Replace the rubber seal.
Have the foot valve serviced.(Festool Ser-
vice).
Replace the vacuum hose; replace the
hose connector if necessary.
Have the vacuum pump repaired or
replaced (Festool Service).
Immediately stop working and remove
the workpiece;
Check the clamping plate and suction
cup.
Replace the rubber seal.
Have the vacuum pump repaired or
replaced (Festool Service).
Use a mains cable with sufficient dimen-
sions.
