Step by step procedure:

Overtemperature can result in pump shutdown
When overheating the VAC PMP turns off. Then
the vacuum expires and the workpiece as well as
the vacuum clamp will be loose. Danger from fall-
ing objects.
Observe the max. ambient temperatures speci-
fied in chapter Machine-related safety instruc-
tions.
Ensure that the air ventilation grill is free of any
obstruction and air accessible.
The VAC PMP features a temperature cut out. In
case of overtemperature, the machine automat-
ically turns off. See chapter Troubleshooting.
Ensure that the vacuum clamp is properly secured
to a stable surface via one of the methods described
in Preparing for use.
Observe the instructions specified in chapter Safety
instructions .
The first set of instructions (Switch on the vacuum)
may or may not have already been undertaken, de-
pending on the method of securing the vacuum
clamp.
Switch on the vacuum
Make sure that the shut-off valve is in the ON
position. When disconnecting the VAC SYS SE 2
always turn to OFF position.

Working with the machine
Connect the vacuum hose to the connector [1-
3].
Switch on the pump at the on/off switch [1-4] (I
= ON, 0 = OFF).
Ensure that the hose connected to the foot valve
and the vacuum pump do not pose a stumbling
hazard.
Tilt the suction plate
Release the clamp lever [6-1].
Tilt the suction plate [6-2] to the required posi-
tion. The tilting range is 0° to 90°.
Clamp the tilting housing by turning the clamp
lever [6-1] firmly in a clockwise direction.
