6. Use

6.1 Before application
Warning
To avoid damage to health, please note the following before use:
• Position yourself on a dry, non-conductive surface. Risk of electric shock!
• Make sure that your hands are dry! Risk of electric shock!
• Your hair must be dry! Risk of electric shock!
• The heating rods [2] of the curl styler can get very hot. When the curl styler is hot, it must
only be held using the handle [7] – risk of burns and fire!
• Do not touch the heating rods [2]. Risk of burns!
• Do not clamp objects between the heating rods [2].
• If the device is faulty or operational faults occur, switch off the device immediately and
remove the mains plug from the socket.
Important
• Untangle the mains cable [10] if it is twisted.
• Do not pull, twist or bend the mains cable [10] and do not pull or route it over/on sharp,
pointed objects or hot surfaces.
• Do not trap the mains cable [10] in drawers, doors or between the heating rods [2], etc.
Damaged or tangled mains cables [10] increase the risk of electric shock!
