(e.g. sauna, excessive sunlight, drying on a radiator).

5 Preparation for use
5.1 Assembly
Assembly of the foot stirrup
Required tools: Torx screwdriver T20.

1) Press in the ankle setting nuts on the inside of the upper foot stirrup part (see fig. 3).
2) Set the lower foot stirrup part onto the outside of the upper foot stirrup part (see fig. 4).
3) Insert the screws and tighten them slightly (see fig. 5).
Assembly of the orthosis
Required tools: Torx screwdriver T20, T30.

1) Shape the stirrup with insert sole or inner sandal.
2) Loosen the central screw of the ankle joint lower part and remove the threaded plate.
3) Place the foot stirrup onto the ankle joint lower part (see fig. 6).
4) Reinsert the threaded plate (see fig. 7).
5) Install the foot stirrup on the ankle joint lower part with the central screw (see fig. 8).
6) Put the orthosis on together with the shoe and insert.
7) Position the foot stirrup so that the Torx screw of the orthosis ankle joint is at the level of the
lateral malleolus.
8) Tighten the screws to secure the foot stirrup.
9) Mark the position of the foot stirrup in the a-p direction and the exterior rotation on the insert.
10) Drill the holes for riveting the insert.
11) Rivet the insert to the foot stirrup.
