Residual risks
Even if you use this electric power tool in
accordance with instructions, certain residual
risks cannot be rules out. The following hazards
may arise in connection with the equipment's
construction and layout:
1. Lung damage if no suitable protective dust mask
is used.
2. Damage to hearing if no suitable ear protection is
used.
3. Health damage caused by hand-arm vibrations if
the equipment is used over a prolonged period or
is not properly guided and maintained.
6. Before putting the machine into
operation
6.1 Correctly using the device
b
The high-pressure cleaner must be set on a
level, stable surface..
It is recommended that you maintain the correct
b
operating position every time you use the
machine by placing one hand on the pistol and
the other on the lance.
b
Never direct the water jet toward electrical lines
or the machine itself.
b
It is normal for the pump to leak a little; this is
necessary to avoid damage to the pump when it
is at a standstill.
b
Never use the equipment in potentially explosive
areas under any circumstances!
b
The operating temperature must be between +5
and + 40°C.
b
Do not cover or modify the lance or the spray
nozzles in any way.
b
The high-pressure cleaner is designed to be
used with cold or lukewarm water (max. 40°C);
higher temperatures can damage the pump.
b
Do not use water that is dirty, gritty or contains
any chemical products, as these could impair
operation and shorten the life of the equipment.

6.2.2 Water inlet connector (Fig. 1)
The connection for the water inlet (6) is equipped
with a connector for standard hose coupling systems.
Attach the hose coupling on the supply hose (min. Ø
1/2") to the connector for the water inlet (6).
An anti-vacuum device must be installed between
the water tap and the high-pressure cleaner! Ask
your local plumber about this.
6.2.3 Connecting the high-pressure hose
(Fig. 11;12)
Connect the high-pressure hose (15) to the
connection on the high-pressure cleaner (10) and on
the spray gun (3).
6.2.4 Fitting the gun attachments (Fig. 13)
Various attachments can be fitted to the gun. To do
so, press the attachment into the gun (you will
encounter a slight spring resistance) and secure the
attachment by turning. Check that the attachment is
secure before you begin with the cleaning.
Lance point / wide cone (12)
The shape of the water jet can be changed from
concentrated to flat jet by turning the nozzle (Fig.
16).
Lance with rotating nozzle (13)
To remove particularly stubborn dirt, use the lance
with rotating nozzle (13).
Rotating washing brush (14)
The rotating washing brush (14) is intended for (low
pressure) cleaning with cleaning agent.
6.2.5 Electrical connections
b
Before you connect the appliance to the mains
supply make sure that the data on the rating
plate are identical to the mains data.
b
If you use any extension cables, make sure that
