Work
After the startup phase, the stove goes to WORK mode, which is normal operation. The heating power can be
adjusted by pressing button P2 and then buttons P1 and P2 from the maximum value of 5 to a minimum value of 1.
If the fume temperature has reached the set maximum value, the display shows the message MODULATE and the
stove activates the flame modulation procedure without any intervention by the user. If the temperature increases
again, above a set limit, the HOT FUMES alarm appears and the stove activates the shutdown procedure. During
normal operation in work mode, the BRAZIER CLEANING mode is activated at fixed intervals for a given duration of
several seconds. Stove operation depends on the type of installation carried out. The following sections give cases.
- Make sure to check the pellet level in the hopper so that the flame does not go out due to lack of fuel.
- Make sure the unit is off when loading pellets.
- The pellet hopper cover must always remain closed, to be opened only during fuel loading.
- The bags of pellets must be kept at least 1.5 m away from the stove.
4.4.1 Adjustment with internal room sensor
The water temperature measured inside the stove and the air temperature are displayed alternately. Press button
P1 and then buttons P1 and P2 to set the water temperature, from a minimum of 40°C to a maximum of 80°C.
When the water temperature reaches the set value, the stove goes to modulation.
By pressing button P1 and then button P3 the room air temperature can be set, from a minimum of 7°C to a
maximum of 40°C.
When the air temperature reaches the set value, after a delay of a few minutes the stove goes to modulation or
shutdown, depending on the setting of menu 05 STANDBY and the corresponding symbol lights up on the display.
4.4.2 Adjustment with external ambient thermostat
The water temperature is displayed. Press button P1 and then buttons P1 and P2 to set the water temperature, from
a minimum of 40°C to a maximum of 80°C.
When the water temperature reaches the set value, the stove goes to modulation, or P1.
When the air temperature reaches the external thermostat set value, after a delay of a few minutes the stove goes
to modulation or shutdown, depending on the setting of menu 05 - STANDBY and the corresponding symbol lights
up on the display.
4.4.3 Adjustment with water probe
The water temperature measured inside the stove is displayed. Press button P1 and then buttons P1 and P2 to set
the water temperature, from a minimum of 40°C to a maximum of 80°C.
When the water temperature reaches set value, after a delay of a few minutes the stove goes to modulation or
shutdown, depending on the setting of menu 05 - STANDBY and the corresponding symbol lights up on the display.
4.4.4 Hot water tank (Puffer) adjusted with probe
The water temperature measured in the hot water tank is displayed. Press button P1 and then buttons P1 and P2 to
set the water temperature, from a minimum of 40°C to a maximum of 80°C.
When the water temperature reaches the set value, the stove goes to standby mode and the corresponding symbol
lights up on the display. In this configuration the standby mode cannot be disabled.
4.4.5 Hot water tank (Puffer) adjusted with external thermostat
The water temperature measured inside the stove is displayed. Press button P1 and then buttons P1 and P2 to set
the water temperature, from a minimum of 40°C to a maximum of 80°C.
When the water temperature reaches the set value, the stove goes to standby mode and the corresponding symbol
lights up on the display. In this configuration the standby mode cannot be disabled.
4.5 Shutting down
To turn off the stove, press button P4 for a few seconds. The auger is immediately stopped and the fume exhaust
fan goes to high speed, with the message FINAL CLEANING appearing on the display. The fume exhaust motor
remains on until the stove temperature has fallen sufficiently.
At the end of the operation the message OFF will appear on the display.
During the shutdown phase the stove cannot be restarted until the fume temperature has dropped below a fixed
value for a given time. If the activation button is pressed the message AWAITING COOL will be displayed.
4.6 Menu
Press button P3 to access the menu. It is divided into eleven sub-menus for accessing the settings of the electronic
control.The various sub-menus can be scrolled by pressing buttons P1 and P2, and can be accessed by pressing
button P3 and exited by pressing P4.
