Function Selector and Torque-Adjustment Ring (Fig. 8)
Your tool is equipped with a function selector for various applications. Move the selector
depending on the requirements of your task.
Your tool also features 24 clutch settings for the screw-driving position
will increase as the clutch ring is rotated from 1 to 24. When driving a screw, first try torque
position 1 and increase until the desired torque is reached.
The proper setting depends on the job and the type of bit, fastener, and material you will be
using. In general, use greater torque for larger screws. If the torque is too high, the screws
may be damaged or broken. For delicate operations, such as removing a partially stripped
screw, use a low torque setting.
