1. MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS

"Maintenance" does not mean only the routine control of the proper functioning of the machine, but also all the steps requi-
red to restore proper operation after a breakdown.
Personnel must have read and understood this handbook and be thoroughly familiar with the remaining dangers and risks.
Only skilled personnel authorized by the employer may carry out maintenance activities, replace spare parts, set the gears and
look for or repair faults.
ALL MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING OPERATIONS AND THE REPLACEMENT OF PARTS MUST BE CARRIED OUT
WHEN THE MACHINE IS SHUT DOWN AND DISCONNECTED FROM THE POWER SOURCE.
Before carrying 0ut any maintenance or cleaning operation, or replacing any part, PAY CAREFUL ATTENTION
to the labels on the machine.
IMPORTANT: When carrying 0ut maintenance or cleaning operations, or replacing any part, do not tamper
with, remove or disregard the warnings on the machine labels or tamper with any safety device.
Maintenance personnel have the following duties:
to carry out machine settings, calibrate the inner gears, including in dangerous areas with the guards closed and locked in
place, with power cut off to moving parts and the machine safely on shut down.
to clean the internal parts of the machine, carry out maintenance, provide technical support, look for and repair faults and
replace worn or potentially malfunctioning parts.

2. MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

REMOVAL OF SAFETY DEVICES
For some maintenance operations, the fixed guards need to be removed.
ONLY A QUALIFIED MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN MAY REMOVE THE GUARDS.
After maintenance, the guards should be replaced and secured as before.
The maintenance manager should cut off the power to the machine before removing the fixed guards.
INSULATION FROM EXTERNAL POWER SOURCES
The maintenance manager shall completely deactivate the machine and cut it off from all sources of power.
Turn the safety device
upstream of the power line
to "ZERO".

means.
