If the grass mower throws a weird object - Follow


these steps:
a. Immediately switch off the grass mower;
b. Verify if the equipment was damaged, if
necessary, perform the repairs before starting
and certify that there is no other objects in the
work area.

2 - Personal safety

Dress properly - Do not wear loose clothes or


jewelry as they may get stuck in the movable parts
of the equipment.
When cutting the lawn always use resistant footwear


and long pants.
Wear protection equipment. Always wear goggles.


Wearing protection equipment like gloves, shoes,
and ear plugs increases your protection and reduces
the risk of an accident.
Do not operate the equipment barefoot or with


sandals.
Do not be self-confident - Keep both feet on the


ground to keep balance.
Beware of what is going on and use common sense


when operating the equipment. Do not use it when
you are tired, distracted or under the influence of
drugs, alcohol or medicine. A slight distraction may
result in a serious injury.
Keep feet and hands away from the cutting area.


Do not leave hands or feet near or under moving


parts. With rotary grass mowers, always keep
yourself away from discharge opening.
During equipment movement do not run, in order


to avoid accidents.
3 - Use and care
Maintain the grass mower in good condition, never


exposing it to rain or humidity - When you are not
using the equipment, keep it in a dry place, protected
from bad weather. Water and humidity can damage
the electric circuits of the engine.
If the start rope is damaged, it must be replaced in


order to avoid risks.
Before using the lawn mower, check whether the


cutting blade is fixed. Visually inspect the blade for
damage or dullness. Replace the blade and damaged
or worn out screws to maintain balance. In case the

blade needs sharpening, sharpen both sides to avoid
unbalance.
For the safety of the operator and of the equipment,


replace worn/damaged parts.
Use the equipment correctly - Do not use the grass


mower for any purpose other than that specified for
it.
Take care of your grass mower - Keep the cutting


blade sharp and clean to obtain good and safe
performance.
With rotary grass mowers, make sure to use spare


cutting means of the right type only.
Never store the equipment with gasoline in the


tank, if necessary, keep the engine operating up to
turning off due to lack of fuel in the carburetor, next
close the fuel valve and store it in adequate place.
Do not exceed 15° slope (fifteen degrees) for


operation in continuous use and maximum 30°
(thirty degrees) for possible operations.
Do not tilt the product when turning the motor on


unless it has to be tilted to start. In that case, do not
tilt more than necessary and only lift the part that is
away from the operator. Make sure both hands are in
operation position before placing the product back
on the floor.
Do not turn the machine on its side or upside down,


so as to avoid oil entering into the air filter and
carburetor.
Do not overuse the equipment. Use it in the right


way and for the purposes described in this manual
for better performance and safety while working.
Do not allow people that are not familiarized


with the equipment to use it. The equipment may
become dangerous on the hands of people not
familiar with its operation.
Use the equipment during daylight or under good


illumination only.
Move transversely to slopes and small elevations;


never move up and down.
The cutting blade keeps moving after the
 
equipment is switched off. Therefore be
aware of that when servicing.
Never use a water jet to clean the equipment, as it


can damage the electric circuits of the engine. Use a
damp cloth and neutral detergent.
