OPERATION
When the descent button is pressed on the control
console, the compressed air coming from the pressure
regulator/lubricator (not supplied - not visible in the
diagram) positioned at the inlet to the air supply line (P) is
sent throughthe three-way valve (EV1) to the safety lock
valve cylinder (CBS) triggering the release of the fall-proof
safety hook mechanism. When the control is released, the
valve connects the air duct to the outlet, permitting the
automatic insertion of the safety hook by means of the
return spring.
When the selector/valve (S3) also positioned on the control
console is rotated clockwise, the compressed air coming
from the air supply line passes through a fl ow control valve
(VFR) to reach the plunger chambers of the jacks (CA-
CB-CD-CE) and triggers the opening of the buffer support
lifting arms. On the other hand, if the selector/valve (S3)
is rotated counterclockwise, the jacks (CA-CB-CD-CE) are
fed by the other inlet, thereby closing the buffer support
lifting arms.
The air pressure regulator/lubricator unit is not supplied by
the manufacturer because it is usually an integral part of
the bodyshop's own compressed air distribution system.
WARNING! Alteration of the relief valve causes
serious damage: SPANESI S.p.A. declines all
responsibility for injury to persons and animals
or damage to property due to alteration of this
valve.
