Kanal an die Buchse INPUT RIGHT (8). Die
Taste MODE (10) darf nicht gedrückt sein.
Bei Monobetrieb ein Monosignal auf die
Buchse INPUT LEFT geben und die Taste MODE
hineindrücken. Das Monosignal wird da durch auf
beiden Lautsprecherausgänge geleitet. Ein Sig-
nal am Eingang INPUT RIGHT wird ignoriert.
Die XLR-Buchsen sind symmetrisch beschal-
tet, können aber auch über entsprechende Adap-
ter asymmetrisch angeschlossen werden, z. B.
aus dem Sortiment von „img Stage Line":
MCA-308 (XLR – Cinch).
3) An den Ausgängen LINK (7 und 9) stehen die
Eingangssignale zum Weiterleiten zur Verfü-
gung. Hier lässt sich ein weiteres Verstärkersys -
tem zur zusätzlichen Beschallung an schlie ßen.
4) Die Satellitenlautsprecher über die mitgelieferten
Anschlusskabel mit den Buchsen SAT LEFT (11)
und SAT RIGHT (12) verbinden. Die Stecker in die
entsprechenden Buchsen stecken und nach rechts
drehen, bis sie ein rasten. Zum späteren Heraus-
ziehen den Sicherungsriegel am Stecker nach hin-
ten schieben und den Stecker nach links drehen.
5) Zum Schluss das beiliegende Netzkabel zuerst in
die Netzbuchse (16) und dann in eine Steckdose
(230 V~/50 Hz) stecken.
5 Bedienung
VORSICHT Stellen Sie die Lautstärke nie sehr
hoch ein. Hohe Lautstärken können
auf Dauer das Gehör schädigen! Das
Ohr gewöhnt sich an sie und empfin-
det sie nach einiger Zeit als nicht
mehr so hoch. Darum eine hohe
Lautstärke nach der Gewöhnung
nicht weiter erhöhen.
1) Die angeschlossene Signalquelle einschalten.
2) Vor dem Einschalten den Regler LEVEL (1) auf
MIN drehen, um am Anfang eine zu hohe Laut -
stärke zu vermeiden. Dann die PA-Anlage mit
4 Setting-up and Connection
1) Place each satellite speaker on a PA speaker
stand (e. g. PAST-162SET by "img Stage Line")
at a suitable place. It would be best to place the
subwoofer system centrally between the two
satellite speakers and tilt it forward until the
system rests on its rubber feet.
2) As a signal source, connect an audio unit with
line output (e. g. mixer, CD player, etc.). For stereo
mode, connect the left channel to the jack INPUT
LEFT (6) and the right channel to the jack INPUT
RIGHT (8). The button MODE (10) must not be
pressed.
For mono mode, feed a mono signal to the
jack INPUT LEFT and depress the button MODE.
The mono signal will then be routed to the two
speaker outputs. Any signal at the INPUT RIGHT
will be ignored.
The XLR jacks are balanced, however, an
unbalanced connection is also possible via corre-
sponding adapters, e. g. from the product range
of "img Stage Line":
MCA-308 (XLR plug – phono plug).
3) At the outputs LINK (7 and 9) the input signals
are available for routing. These outputs allow
connection of another amplifier system for addi-
tional PA application.
4) Connect the satellite speakers to the jacks SAT
LEFT (11) and SAT RIGHT (12) via the connec-
tion cables supplied. Connect the plugs to the
corresponding jacks and turn them clockwise
until they lock into place. For later removal, push
the locking latch on the plug to the rear and turn
the plug counter-clockwise.
5) Finally connect the supplied mains cable first to
the mains jack (16) and then to a mains socket
(230 V~/50 Hz).

SAT (3) und SUB (4) ungefähr in die Mittelposi-
tion stellen.

5) Das Lautstärkeverhältnis zwischen dem Sub -
woofer und den Satellitenlautsprechern mit den
Reglern SAT und SUB so einstellen, dass sich
eine natür liche Basswiedergabe ergibt.
6) Die Stereo balance mit dem Regler BAL (2) ein-
stellen.
7) Bei der Aufstellung der Lautsprecher kann es zu
einer unterschiedlichen Phasenlage zwischen
den Schallwellen des Subwoofers und denen der
Satellitenlautsprecher kommen. Um dieses aus-
zugleichen, den Schalter PHASE (5) wechsel-
weise schalten und auf lauteste Bass wiedergabe
am Hörplatz einstellen. An schließend mit dem
Regler SUB die Basslautstärke ggf. korrigieren.
8) Nach dem Betrieb das Gerät mit dem Schalter
POWER ausschalten.
6 Transport
1) Alle Anschlussstecker herausziehen und die
Subwooferbox auf die Laufrollen stellen.
2) Die Satellitenlautsprecher mit der Vorderseite auf
die Subwooferbox legen und mit dem Haltegurt
sichern.
3) Die Schutzhaube überstülpen.

5 Operation
CAUTION Never adjust a very high volume. Per-
manent high volumes may damage
your hearing! The human ear will get
accustomed to high volumes which
do not seem to be that high after
some time. Therefore, do not further
increase a high volume after getting
used to it.
1) Switch on the signal source connected.
2) Prior to switching on, set the control LEVEL (1) to
MIN to prevent an excessive volume at the begin-
ning. Then switch on the PA system with the
mains switch POWER (14). The power LED (13)
above the switch will light up.
3) As a basic setting, first set the two controls SAT
(3) and SUB (4) to approximately mid-position.
4) Adjust the desired volume with the control LEVEL
(1).
5) Adjust the volume ratio between the subwoofer
and the satellite speakers with the controls SAT
and SUB in such a way that a natural bass repro-
duction will result.
6) Adjust the stereo balance with the control BAL (2).
7) When setting up the speakers, there may be a
different phase between the sound waves of the
subwoofer and those of the satellite speakers. To
compensate this difference, actuate the switch
PHASE (5) alternately and set it to bass repro-
duction of the highest volume at the listening
position. Then readjust the bass volume with the
control SUB, if required.
8) After operation switch off the unit with the
POWER switch.

6 Transport
1) Disconnect all connection plugs and set the sub-
woofer system on its castors.
2) Place the satellite speakers with their front sides
on the subwoofer system and secure them with
the retaining strap.
3) Slip on the protective cover.
