7 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
This chapter describes the technical specifications (electric and mechanical) of the DBW03.

7.1 POWER DATA

(1) Disregarding the power dissipated on the braking resistor.
Note:
(1) Steady state rated current in the following conditions:
- Temperature around the braking module: -10 °C (14 °F) to 45 °C (113 °F). The
braking module can operate at ambient temperatures up to 55 °C (131 °F) if the
output current is derated by 2 % for each degree Celsius above 45 ºC (113 °F).
- Relative air humidity: 5 % to 90 % non-condensing.
- Altitude: 1000 m (3.300 ft). Above 1000 m (3.300 ft) up to 4000 m (13.200 ft) the
output current must be derated by 1 % for each 100 m (330 ft) above 1000 m
(3.300 ft).
From 2000 m to 4000 m (6.600 ft to 13.200 ft) above sea level - maximum voltage
reduction (480 V for 380...480 V models) of 1.1 % for each 100 m (330 ft) above
2000 m (6.600 ft).
- Ambient with pollution degree 2 (according to EN50178 and UL508C).
(2) The specified losses are valid for rated operating conditions, that is, for rated
output current.
