Work area safety

Keep the work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas can cause accidents.
Do not operate electric tools in explosive and flammable atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable
liquids, gases or powders. Electric tools can create sparks, which may ignite flammable powders or fumes.
Keep children and bystanders away while operating an electric tool. Distractions can cause loss of control of the
electric
tool.
2.6

Electrical safety for the battery charger

The battery charger plug must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in anyway. Do not use any adapter if the
plug has grounding. Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will reduce risk of electrical shock.
Avoid any body contact with grounded surfaces, such as pipes, radiators and refrigerators. There is an
increased risk of electric shock if your body gets in contact with grounded objects.
Do not expose the battery charger to rain or wet conditions. Water entering it would increase the risk of electric
shock.
Do not make an incorrect use of the cable. Never use the cable for carrying, pulling or unplugging the battery
charger. Keep the cable away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cables
increase the risk of electric shock.
When operating a battery charger outdoors, use an extension cord which is fit for outdoor use. This reduces the
risk of electric shock.
If operating a battery charger in a wet location is unavoidable, use a power supply residual current device
(RCD). This reduces the risk of electric shock.
