7.1 Seat and backrest
CAUTION!
Risk of injury from moving lifting

When cleaning the seat, proceed
with extreme care.
Important!
Hygiene is of the outmost priority when
it comes to bathing equipment. Regu-
larly clean both the seat and backrest
and protect it from dust and dirt.
7.1.1 Cleaning and protection
Important!
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents.
1. To clean the AQUATEC FORTUNA, use
conventional detergents and disinfect-
ants. Clean the device with a soft cloth or
brush.
2. Rinse the AQUATEC FORTUNA thor-
oughly with warm water.
Important!
Always dry the contacts in the battery
compartment.
3. Dry the AQUATEC FORTUNA with a soft
cloth.
7.1.2 Cleaning
1. Remove the covers from the seat and
backrest.
CAUTION!
Risk of damage to covers
Do not tumble-dry the covers.
2. The covers can be washed in the washing
machine at max. 60 °C. Use a detergent
for delicate fabrics.
3. Clean the bathlift as described in
chapter 7.1.1.

4. Lubricate the sliding rail (6, figure 1) by
applying a little Vaseline.
7.2 Charger and battery
CAUTION!
Risk of injury from electric shock
Prior to cleaning, disconnect the
charger from the power supply.
Never touch the battery socket
with an object made in a conduct-
ing material (e.g. knitting needles,
metal pin).
To clean the charger and the bat-
tery, use only a dry cloth.
Clean the charger and the battery with a dry
cloth.
7.3 Maintenance
The AQUATEC FORTUNA is maintenance-
free, provided it is regularly cleaned as
described above.
