5.2 Mounting of suction cups
CAUTION!
Risk of injury from moving lifting
scissors
Do not reach between the lifting
scissors during assembly.
Important!
To dismantle the suction cups, follow
these instructions in reverse order.
5.2.1 Preparing assembly
1. Position the seat on its side.
2. Carefully pull the base plate (8, figure 1)
from the seat plate (2, figure 1).
The seat is now laying on its side.
5.2.2 Mounting of suction cups at the
front
Important!
The procedure is the same for the
right and the left suction cup.
The front suction cups are equipped
with one strap and a head that can
be inserted into the plate.
1. Press the red suction cup lid (2, figure 4)
from the base into the keyhole
(3, figure 4) in the base plate.
Important!
Use a lubricant to facilitate the inser-
tion.
2. Apply a thin layer of conventional hand
cream onto the head of the suction cup
(4, figure 4).

Important!
The strap with the toggle must face
towards the back.
3. Insert the suction cup head into the larger
bore of the keyhole.
4. Pull the suction cup head forward into the
smaller opening of the keyhole.
5. Bend up the strap (5, figure 4) and insert
the toggle into the groove (1, figure 4).
6. Push in the red suction cup lid.
5.2.3 Mounting of suction cups at the
rear
Important!
The procedure is the same for the
right and the left suction cup.
The rear suction cups are equipped
with two straps and a threaded bolt.
Install the cups in such a way that at
least one strap of each cup can be
reached when the lift is mounted
into the bath.
Screw suction cup (1, figure 5) into the pro-
vided threaded liner (2, figure 5).
The threaded liner is located on the side of
the base plate (3, figure 5), which also carries
the spindle foot support (4, figure 5).
