As soon as the seat has reached its lowest
position, you can lower the backrest so that
you can comfortably lie in the bath.
7. To lower the backrest, keep the DOWN
button pressed.
To lift yourself out of the bath, complete the
above steps in reverse order.
To lift the seat, press the UP button
(3, figure 13).
8. After a bath, remove the battery from the
compartment and recharge it as
described in chapter 5.1
or
dismantle and remove the AQUATEC
FORTUNA from the bath as described in
chapter 5.4.

6.3 Transfer aids
If you have difficulty to position yourself on
the AQUATEC FORTUNA, you might con-
sider using transfer aids.
Your medical supplies centre can advice you
on suitable transfer aids.
AQUATEC DISK XL (figure 19)
The AQUATEC DISK XL is placed onto the
seat of the AQUATEC FORTUNA. It is used
to turn persons into the bath position.
AQUATEC TRANS XL (figure 20)
The AQUATEC TRANS XL is placed onto the
seat of the AQUATEC FORTUNA. It is used
to move and turn persons into the bath posi-
tion.
AQUATEC STEP (figure 21)
The AQUATEC STEP is placed onto the
bathroom floor in front of the bathtub. It facili-
tates mounting and dismantling, if the feet
would otherwise not reach the floor.
