CLEAR COMPLETE
Press and hold the "ENTER & GO BACK",
then switch the power supply OFF and
then ON. This will reset the qualifier.
Press UP/DOWN arrows to select parameter 1 or 2, press ENTER.
PSET # will define the specific part you are error proofing. PSET
will be kept in memory.
Use UP arrow to select parameter.
Press UP/DOWN arrow to selec target torque. This value is
for reference only. The qualifier is not a torque control or
measurement device.
Adjust tool to achieve selected value of target torque.
Use tool to run down actual fastener and hold trigger until " RUN
COMPLETE" appears.
Verify fastener has been tightened to desired torque, press
"UP" (Yes). If not, press down (No), and make adjustments to the
tool and try again. May be asked to run several fasteners before
mounting on.
Use tool to run down actual fastener until "Run Complete"
appears.
Repeat 3 times.
Run freespeed for 2-3 seconds.
Repeat 2 more time.
Press UP/DOWN for the number of fasteners per batch.
Press ENTER (Max 99).
The optional BATCH TIMER (seconds) screen appears ONLY if you
have set the batch count greater than 1.
Press Up/Down arrows for maximum time allowed (seconds),
between start of first cycle and end of last cycle.
This is the RUN MODE/START screen. You are now ready for Error
Proofing.

This button is referred to as
the ENTER button. Use this
button to select an option
and to move to the next
screen.
This button is referred to as
the GO BACK button. At any
screen you may use this to go
to the last step.
GROSS ADJUST SIGNAL- The screw in
the middle of the RSM is for adjusting
the overall signal.
The default setting for this is
medium. If you are required to adjust
the signal for a particular tool, please
use one of the other two screws that
are located on the back of the RSM.
Longer screw=higher signal.
