NOTICE:

• When not in use, store the thermometer in the provided storage case.
• Do not expose the device to liquids. The device is not waterproof. Avoid all
direct contact with water or other liquids.
• Do not expose the device to direct sunlight.
• Clean the measuring sensor before each use.
• Do not touch the measuring sensor with fi ngers.
• Do not use any aggressive solvents, cleaning agents, detergents or any other
strong chemicals to clean the device.
• Always use the size and type of batteries indicated.
• Never use rechargeable batteries. This may damage the unit.
• Replace weak batteries before they discharge completely. When "
play occurs please change the batteries.
• Leaking batteries may damage the device. If you do not intend to use the thermom-
eter for longer periods, remove the batteries from the battery compartment before
placing the device in storage.
• Batteries can contain toxins that are harmful to the environment. Always dispose of
batteries in accordance with applicable local regulations. Do not dispose of batter-
ies with normal household waste.
• Observe the local regulations for material disposal. Dispose of the device in accor-
dance with local regulations.
• Do not use mobile telephones, microwaves, and other devices which generate
strong electrical or electromagnetic fields near the unit. This may result in incorrect
operation of the unit.
• Do not press the buttons with excessive force or with any pointed objects.
