4.5 Individual adjustment of the extension stop
Turn left = later extension stop
Turn right = earlier extension stop
4.6 Additional technical advice
Attention!
The individually shortened tube adapter must be pushed into the
tube until it stops. Obey the instruction manual of the Streifeneder
tube adapter. Tighten the cylindrical screw with the 173P11 torque
wrench, calibrated, to 16 Nm.
Attention!
Please take special care, that this product is not exposed to corrosive
chemicals and substances such as salt- and freshwater, acids, dust
or sand! Failure to observe these instructions will make any claims
against Streifeneder ortho.production GmbH null and void.
Please inform the prosthesis wearer accordingly!
To individually adjust the extension stop
during trial, remove the cover from
the top part of the joint. Carefully turn
both threaded bolts at the same degree
clockwise, in order to effect an earlier
extension stop. Use an allen key SW2 for
this task. After adjusting the extension
stop, check whether the lock still locks
itself in full extension position.
