The 3A860 KINEGEN.smart Brake Knee Joint with locking mechanism is
approved for activity levels 1 and 2 according to Streifeneder walky-system
and for maximum body weight of up to 125 kg / 275 lbs, including carried and
supported loads.
2 Description and Function
2.1 Application
The mechanical 3A860 KINEGEN.smart Brake Knee Joint with locking mechanism
is intended exclusively for prostheses of the lower extremities.
2.2 Construction
The KINEGEN.smart is a brake knee joint with inner extension assist and an
optional locking mechanism. It consists of the joint top, the axial clip and the
joint bottom; these parts are connected by means of the brake axis and the
control axis. The joint top is rotatable via the brake axis and rests in the brake
clamp.
