General information

As soon as you've finished blending, turn the speed controller to the home
position, switch off the appliance using the on/off switch (Pos.
Never operate the appliance empty. Allow the device to cool down following the
maximum operating time so that the motor is not overloaded. For large volumes,
especially thin fluid content, it is hard to pour in a directed manner. In this case,
it is better to prepare the batch in parts. Always move the speed controller to the
home position before removing the jug.
Attention! Risk of injury! Always wait for the blades to come to a standstill
before removing the lid. Do not reach into the appliance before the mains
plug has been unplugged. Completely empty the jug following use. Do not leave
any liquid in the jug.

Overload protection

The appliance is equipped with overload protection. This prevents the motor
being damaged by overloading.
If the appliance switches off during operation, proceed as follows.
▪ Move the speed controller to the home position, switch the appliance off
using the on/off button (Pos.
15-20 minutes.
▪ Remove the jug and place the drive unit to one side.
▪ Press the reset button on the bottom of the drive unit (see image). If the reset
button cannot be pressed into the appliance, let it cool down more and try
again later.
▪ Place the jug back on the drive unit, reconnect the appliance to the power
supply and continue blending.
Cleaning and care
After use, unplug the appliance and switch the on/off switch off (Pos.
drive unit should never be placed in water, only wiped down with a damp cloth.
Do not use any abrasive cleaning agents. Be sure to avoid injury on the sharp
blades when cleaning the jug. Immediately after blending, fill the jug with warm
water and allow the motor to run for a few seconds. Then remove the glass jug
and clean with a washing-up brush. For easy cleaning, the cap, lid and jug can be
washed in the dishwasher.
