-
This may also be due to the proximity of similar products that also operate with a remote
control, which, if they use the same frequency, could cause interference.
-
If the batteries in the remote control are dead, replace them so that you can continue to
use it normally.
-
Remove the batteries from the remote control if you are not going to use it for a long period
of time.
-
When positioning the fan, make sure that no wires are pinched. If this happens, a short-
circuit may occur.
Recommendations
-
If your fan runs automatically when you switch it on for the first time after installation, it
has memorised the previous factory setting.
-
If the fan or light does not work, reset the fan. To do this, turn it off for at least 5 seconds
and then turn it on again.
-
When the fan is switched on and starts running in either direction (clockwise or
counterclockwise), it will stop and change direction several times. This is normal. The fan
will take some time to perform the selected function and to start up regularly.
Reconnect the mains supply from the electrical switchboard in the house.
Remove the battery-compartment cover of the remote control, insert the batteries, and
replace the cover.
Note
-
The remote control is powered by two AAA 1.5 V batteries.
-
The remote control operates within a maximum range of 6 metres from the transmitter to
the receiver.
-
If the fan is not to be used for a long period of time, store the remote control in a dry place
where it will not be exposed to heat or direct sunlight. Also remove the battery.
5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
-
Clean the fan regularly.
-
When cleaning, only use a soft brush or lint-free cloth to avoid scratching the finish.
-
Abrasive cleaning agents are not necessary and should be avoided in order not to damage
the finish.
RECOMMENDATION
Periodically check that the blades are securely fastened to the motor with the screws.
WARNING: do not use solvents to clean the fan. Doing so may result in a risk of electric shock.
