Operating instructions
4.3 Intended application
Globe valves are used for shutting off and/or throt-
tling media.
Install globe valves so that the stem is vertical and
the type of the medium enters under the cone.
The globe valve is opened or closed by turning the
handwheel or by operating the actuator.
Detailed installation instructions for the actuator
are included for globe valves with pneumatic or
electric actuator-unit.
NOTICE! Tools for increasing handwheel torque
are not allowed.
Detailed user information for actuator powered
globe valves must be readily available.
