This battery charger is intended to recharge ProTeam Lithium Ion batteries
107683 and 107684.
WARNING
CHARGING PROTEAM LITHIUM ION BATTERY PACKS
Lithium Ion batteries deliver fade-free power for their entire run time. The equipment will perform at its
normal performance level until the battery pack has been depleted. Once this happens, recharging of the
battery pack is required. It is not necessary to drain the battery pack completely before recharging.
GoFit Lithium Ion battery packs operate over a narrow voltage range which allows the equipment to
deliver a high level of performance throughout its entire run time. When the voltage drops to the specified
lower limit, the battery pack will stop operating and will need to be recharged.
If none of the charger LEDs are lit at any point during the charging process, remove the battery pack
from the charger to avoid damaging the product. DO NOT insert another battery pack. Contact ProTeam
Customer Service with any issues.
BATTERY PACK PROTECTION FEATURES
ProTeam 60V Lithium Ion battery packs are designed with features that protect the Lithium Ion cells
and maximize life of battery pack. When the battery pack has reached its minimum voltage level the
electronics inside the equipment will shut off the motor. Once the motor shuts off, the battery pack must
be recharged.
Note: Prior to charging, the battery pack may be in Temperature Error mode for
approximately an additional hour to allow the battery temperature to settle within the
acceptable charging temperature range.
PREPARING BATTERY PACK FOR CHARGING
1. Plug the charger's power cord into the
charger (Figure A).
2. Plug the charger's power cord into 120V wall
outlet (Figure B).
3. Install battery pack on charger as shown
(Figure C).
4. The Charger indicator light will turn on solid
red (standby) after inserting the battery.
When charge cycle begins the indicator will
change from solid red to flashing green.
When Charger indicator light changes from
flashing green to solid green, battery is
100% charged.
5. If the charger indicator light flashes red,
remove the battery pack and then reinstall
it. If it still flashes red, contact ProTeam
Customer Service for further instructions.
6. If the charger indicator light flashes amber,
there is a temperature-related error. Please
let the battery pack rest at room temperature
for at least 1 hour. The charger indicator light
will turn flashing green, fan will turn on, and
the battery pack will begin charging once
the battery temperature settles within the
acceptable charging temperature range.
