Connecting the EarisMAX Transmitter to Power
The EarisMAX transmitter is powered via the USB-C 5VDC (10) input. This can be
done using a USB port on the TV or with a standard USB power adapter that delivers at
least 300mA at 5VDC.
We recommend using a direct USB connection on the TV. When the TV is turned off,
the EarisMAX transmitter will also be turned off simultaneously. CAUTION: There are
TV models where the USB port turns off only after a few minutes.
When the EarisMAX transmitter is disconnected from power, the previously set Blue-
tooth modes remain stored in the device.
Turning On and Off the EarisMAX Transmitter
Press and hold the Power On/Off button (1) for 3 seconds to turn on the EarisMAX
transmitter. The status LED (3) will illuminate green.
Press the Power On/Off button (1) again for 3 seconds to turn off the EarisMAX
transmitter.
Note: When the EarisMAX transmitter is disconnected from power and then reconnect-
ed, all previous settings remain intact.
