3. Check the covers and protective devices for dam-
age and correct seating. Replace them if necessary.
4. You can smooth out slight nicks on the cutting teeth
yourself. To do this, draw an oil stone along the cut-
ting edges. Only sharp cutting teeth provide a good
cutting performance.
5. Blunt, bent or damaged cutter bars must be re-
placed.
12 Storage
Preparation for storage
1. Remove the battery.
2. Clean and check the product for damage.
3. For transport or when storing the product, cover the
blade with the blade guard.
4. Fertiliser and other garden chemicals contain sub-
stances that can have a severely corrosive effect on
the metal parts. Do not store the product in the vi-
cinity of these substances.
Store the product and its accessories in a dark, dry and
frost-free place that is inaccessible to children.
The optimum storage temperature is between 5°C and
30˚C.
Store the product in its original packaging.
Cover the product to protect it from dust or moisture.
Store the operating manual with the product.

Risk of damage to supply lines
Contact with electric lines may cause electric shock
and fire, contact with a gas line may cause explosion.
Damage to a water pipe can cause damage to prop-
erty and electric shock.

When drilling for wall mounting, make sure that
there are no supply lines in the wall in the area of
the drill holes that could be damaged.

The product has two holes on the front edge of the cut-
ter bar for wall mounting. It can be hung on a wall with
two screws* spaced 3 cm apart, taking into account the
safety instructions (see Fig. 6). The screw head can
have a diameter of 8 mm. Allow the screw head to pro-
trude at least 10 mm from the wall.
13 Repair & ordering spare parts
With this product, it is necessary to note that the follow-
ing parts are subject to natural or usage-related wear,
or that the following parts are required as consumables.

According to the German Product Liability Act, no lia-
bility is accepted for damage caused by improper re-
pairs or by not using original spare parts.
Such work should be performed by a customer ser-
vice centre or an authorised specialists. The same
applies to accessory parts.
