Contact with a live cable during cutting can result in
electric shock. Cutting into foreign objects can cause
damage to the cutter bar.

Scan hedges and bushes for hidden objects, such
as live wires, wire fences and plant supports, be-
fore cutting
ATTENTION
Blunt blades overload the product! Do not use the
product if the cutters are faulty or heavily worn.
ATTENTION
Make sure that the ambient temperature does not ex-
ceed 50°C and does not fall below -20°C during work.
ATTENTION
The product is part of the 20V gomag series and may
only be operated with batteries of this series. Batter-
ies may only be charged with battery chargers of this
series. Observe the manufacturer's instructions.

Inserting/removing the battery

1. Slide the batteries (15) into the battery mount (7).
The batteries (15) click into place audibly.

Removing the batteries
1. Press the unlock button (14) of the battery (15) and
remove it from the battery mount (7).

Switching the product on/off and
operating it (Fig. 1, 2)
Notes:
Before switching on, make sure that the product does
not touch any objects.
1. Pull the blade guard (13) off the cutter bar (9).
2. When working with the cuttings collector (12), make
sure that the cuttings collector (12) is properly
mounted on the cutter bar (9).
3. Press and hold down the safety switch (3) on the
front handle (2).
4. To switch on the product, push the on/off switch (5).
5. To switch it off, simply release the on/off switch (5).

Adjusting the rear clamping table
(6) (Fig. 1, 5)
Notes:
The rear handle can be rotated 360° to the desired po-
sition and in both directions.
There is a choice of 3 locking positions:
Locking position 1: For horizontal cuts.
Locking position 2: Rotation by 90° to the right for verti-
cal cuts and right-handed users.
Locking position 3: Rotation by 90° to the left for vertical
cuts and left-handed users.
1. Slide the release switch (4) on the rear handle (6)
backwards and hold it.
2. Turn the rear handle (6) to the desired locking posi-
tion.
9.4
Overload protection
Note:
In the event of overloading, the motor will switch itself
off. After a cool-down period (time varies) the motor can
be switched back on again.
10 Working instructions
WARNING
Danger of injury!
If you remove blockages with your bare hands, you
may injure yourself.

Wear protective gloves.

Use suitable tools (e.g. a wooden stick).
Notes:
Hold the product firmly with both hands during opera-
tion to have better control over the product.
