Installation
Plaster and tile the wall, excluding the area of the structural
shell protection.
1. Remove screws (A) and keep for installation of the support
frame, see fold-out page I, Fig. [1].
2. Cut off structural shell protection (B) flush with the tiles.
3. Attach support frame (C) with screws (A), (C1) and
washers (C2) through the structural shell protection at the
wall-mounting box (D), see Fig. [2].
Preparing wall plate
Only 36 242 (long spout):
Push extension (E) onto connection nipple (F) on the wall
plate (G) and fasten from below with set screw (E1),
see Fig. [3].
The projection of 36 243 can be increased by 75mm with an
extension (42 126), see replacement parts, fold-out page II.
1. Push spout (H) onto extension (E) or connection nipple (F),
align and fasten from below with set screw (H1).
approx. 9 l/min
2. Screw solenoid valve (J) with seal (J1) loosely in union
230 V
nut (K), see Fig. [4].
3.2 VA
3. Align solenoid valve (J) with plug connection facing upwards
60 s
and tighten union nut (K).
3 mins.
4. Fit headpart (L) of the transformer to base (M), see Fig. [5],
remove protection first.
IP 55
5. Connect hose (N) with seal (N1) at angle of approx. 45°
upwards on the solenoid valve, see fold-out page III, Fig. [6].
22cm
6. Fasten safety chain (O) of support frame (C) to wall
2 s
plate (G), see Fig. [7].
7. Connect control electronics (P) with plug-in connectors (P1)
and (P2) to transformer (L) and solenoid valve (J).

2500 V
Only in conjunction with wall-mounting box 36 009.
100 °C
Check the temperature of the water at the spout with a
thermometer, see Fig. [8]. If the desired temperature has not
been reached, proceed as follows:
1. Remove cap (Q), see Fig.[9].
2. Remove stop ring (R) and scale ring (S).
3. The temperature can be adjusted, using a 3mm allen key in
the hexagon aperture on the thermostatic cartridge (T).
4. After reaching a temperature of 40 °C, attach scale ring (S),
so that the 40 °C marking aligns with the red pin (U) of the
thermostatic cartridge (T).
5. Attach stop ring (R), so that the red pin (U) is located in the
aperture (R1).
Temperature adjustment
For operation with the thermostat, the mixed water
temperature is pre-adjusted at the thermostatic cartridge (T),
see Fig. [9].
The cap (Q) and the stop ring (R) must be removed to adjust
the temperature. The temperature can now be adjusted using
the 3mm allen key. Turn clockwise (to decrease temperature),
turn anti-clockwise (to increase temperature), see also indicator
on the scale ring (S). Reinstall stop ring (R) and cap (Q).
Caution:
To prevent self-adjustment of the temperature, operation only
with installed cap (Q).
Final installation
1. Engage wall plate (G) in the support frame (C) from above,
see Fig. [10].
2. Fasten wall plate (G) with screw (G2) using the allen key
provided.
