Descaling via RC
NOTE
Functional restrictions or product damage due to limescale build-up
Limescale can build-up in regions with hard water. Limescale can impair the
performance of the product.
> Check the water quality in the region. Duravit recommends the installation of a
water softener with water hardness ≥ 14 °dH (2.5 mmol/l).
> Descale the product regularly. The app sends an automatic reminder.
> Configure the descaling settings according to the regional water hardness.

> Only use original descaling agents from Duravit or those approved by Duravit.
Water hardness
soft: <8.4 °dH (1.5 mmol/l)
medium: 8.4 – 14 °dH (1.5 – 2.5 mmol/l)
hard: >14 °dH (2.5 mmol/l)
