PHASE 2: Recovery of the Contaminated Refrigerant from the Vehicle's A/C System
7. Connect the S coupler of the recovery unit to the vehicle's A/C system when requested to
by the charging station.
8. Connect the HP coupler of the equipment to the P2 coupler of the recovery unit.
9. Follow the instructions on the display.
PHASE 3: Emptying the Recovery unit
10. Disconnect the S coupler of the recovery unit from the vehicle's A/C system when
requested to by the charging station.
11. Connect the HP coupler of the equipment to the P3 coupler of the recovery unit.
12. Follow the instructions on the display.
PHASE 4: Discharge of the Contaminated Refrigerant in the External Tank
The internal tank of the recovery unit must always be emptied before carrying
out a new recovery procedure.
13. Disconnect the HP coupler of the equipment from the P3 coupler of the recovery unit.
14. Disconnect the S coupler of the recovery unit from the vehicle's A/C system.
15. Connect the discharge hose of the recovery unit to the RED valve (LIQUID) of the
external tank.
16. Connect the S coupler of the recovery unit to the BLUE valve (VAPOR) of the external
tank.
