Specified Conditions of Use
Use the maintenance unit exclusively for the maintenance
of compressed air systems in the industrial sector.
Use of the maintenance unit as intended also requires you
to observe the instructions and all other accompanying
documents. Also pay attention to the national accident
prevention regulations at the place of use.
The maintenance unit must not be operated in
an explosive atmosphere.
Use outside these areas shall be considered to be improper
use.
The user alone is responsible for damage resul-
ting from improper use.
General safety instructions
The compatibility of pneumatic equipment is the responsibi-
lity of the designer of the pneumatic system or who decides
its specifications. Since the products specified here are
used in various operating conditions, their compatibility for
the specific pneumatic system must be based on specifi-
cations or after analysis and/or tests to meet your specific
requirements.
Special safety instructions
Installation and maintenance
•
Assembly and initial start-up require basic electrical and pneu-
matic knowledge, as well as knowledge of the appropriate
technical terms. Assembly and commissioning may therefore
only be carried out by qualified electrical or pneumatic per-
sonnel or an instructed person under the direction and super-
vision of qualified personnel.
•
Disconnect the power supply (if required) and the compres-
sed air supply before installation, maintenance, or conversion.
Then relieve all compressed air connections on this product.
After installation, maintenance, or conversion, the compressed
air and power supplies (if required) must be reconnected to
the product. The product then needs to be tested for leaks and
proper functioning. If the product leaks or malfunctions, the
product cannot be operated.
•
Warnings and specifications on the product should not be
covered by paint etc. And should remain legible at all times.
•
Repairs and/or changes to maintenance units operated in the
Ex area are not permissible.
Warning!
System is pressurised during
operation!
Opening the system while pressurised may cause damage
to the device and serious injury.

Attention!
Harmful oil mist!
When oil is used, oil mist is generated in the compressed
air system, which is harmful to health. The oiler may there-
fore only be operated in closed pneumatic systems.
Operation
•
The maintenance unit can be operated only within the specifi-
cations provided for it. Specifications can be found at the end
of these instructions as well as in additional product informa-
tion documents.
•
The maintenance unit was developed and tested exclusively
for operation with clean, dry, and chemical additives and unla-
den compressed air. Operation using other media or additives
not specified by the manufacturer is not permitted and requires
consent from the manufacturer.
•
The maintenance unit must not be operated in aggressive am-
bient air (e.g. solvent vapors).
•
If a product has been damaged, do not operate the system.
If it is already in operation, halt it immediately and exchange
the damaged product
•
Dirt must not be allowed to accumulate on or in filters, bowls,
or observation windows. Replace bowl if dirt near drain can-
not be removed (may obstruct drain)
•
Residual pressure may remain on secondary side of regulators
when supply is removed. This condition will enable equipment
to operate un- less system is designed to relieve (exhaust) this
pressure; i.e. designer should add components that will ex-
haust secondary side when supply is removed.
Use only genuine Würth accessories and spare
parts.
Maintenance and care
Use only mild soap and a damp cloth to clean the tool
since certain cleaning agents and solvents are harmful to
plastics and other insulated parts.
Accessories and spare parts
If. in spite of careful manufacturing and testing processes,
the device becomes faulty, a repair by
