DIRECTION-OF-ROTATION (FORWARD/
CENTER-LOCK/REVERSE) SELECTOR
After tool use, lock the
WARNING
selector in the "OFF" position (center-lock)
to help prevent accidental starts and
possible injury.
Your tool is equipped with a direction-of-rotation
selector, located above the variable-speed
trigger switch. This selector is used to change
the direction of rotation of the square drive and
to lock the variable-speed trigger in the "OFF"
(center-lock) position.
a. Position the direction-of-rotation selector to
the far left of the tool to tighten bolts/nuts
(Fig. 5).
b. Position the direction-of-rotation selector to
the far right of the tool to loosen bolts/nuts
(Fig. 5).
c. Position the switch in the "OFF" (center-
lock) position to help reduce the possibility of
accidental starting when not in use.
To prevent gear damage, always
NOTICE
allow the impact wrench to come
to a complete stop before changing the direction
of rotation.
LED WORK LIGHT (FIG. 6a–6b)
Your tool is equipped with four LED work lights
with adjustable brightness (Fig. 6a and 6b).
They provide additional illumination on the
surface of the workpiece. All four LED work
lights turn on and off at the same time as soon
as the trigger switch is depressed.
To adjust brightness of the work lights:
NOTE: Brightness adjustment applies to all
four work lights. There is no way to adjust the
brightness of each light individually.
1. Press the "drive-control button" and "M"
button simultaneously for 2 seconds until the
four indicator lights start flashing at the same
time for 0.5 second on and 0.5 second off,
indicating that the tool has entered the work
lights brightness adjustment mode.
2. In the work light brightness adjustment mode,
each time you press the trigger switch, the
brightness of the two LED work lights will

NOTE: The impact wrench will not run unless
the direction-of-rotation selector is engaged fully
to the left or to the right.
WARNING
Therefore, the direction-of-rotation (forward/
center-lock/reverse) selector should always
be locked in the center position when the
tool is not in use or when carrying it at your
side.
