INSTALL AND REMOVE THE IMPACT
SOCKET (FIG. 3a-3b)
CAUTION
portion are not damaged before installing
the impact socket.
To install the impact socket:
a. Align the square of the impact socket with the
square drive and push the impact socket onto
the square drive as far as it will go.
b. Tap it lightly if required.
To remove the impact socket:
Simply pull it off.
NOTE:The square drive of model FX1472B
features a through-hole (Fig. 3b). The through-
hole allows for more secure socket retention via
compatible socket and use of accessory pin and
ring or one-piece retainer.

LANYARD STRAP CONNECTION POINTS
This tool features two lanyard connection points.
A lanyard (sold separately) reduces the risk of
dropping the tool.
