Open the Control Center to shut down or restart the tablet
Swipe down from the top of the screen to bring up the Control Center and Notification Center, slide down
again to open the Control Center, and tap the "Power off" button at the bottom to get to the shutdown box.
Adjust the Volume
Press the volume button to bring up the volume control popup. You can then adjust the volume by pressing
the volume button or dragging the volume slider on the screen.
Tap the button at the top of the volume control popup to switch between Ring, Vibrate, and Silent mode.
