TROUBLESHOOTING

POSSIBLE CAUSE
• Unit is not plugged in

SOLUTION
• Plug unit in
• Press the power button to turn the
unit on
• Check circuits and fuses or try a
different outlet
• Refill the tank with water
• Follow Cleaning the Transducer/
Ultrasonic Membrane instructions in
the How to clean and care section
• Reset the humidistat to a higher humidity
setting, or change to continuous on
• Follow steps 1-7, Cleaning the
Transducer/Ultrasonic Membrane in the
How to Clean and Care Section
• Remove the tank cover and let the tank
air out in a cool, dry place for 12 hours
• Remove the tank cover and tank. Pour
out any water remaining in the tank.
Over a sink, twist to remove the water
reservoir and pour out any remaining
water. Reassemble and fill with clean,
cool water.
• Place unit on a flat, even surface.
• Check the water level; refill the tank if
the water is low
• Use distilled water and a
demineralization cartridge
• Replace demineralization cartridge
• Follow Cleaning the Transducer/
Ultrasonic Membrane instructions in
the How to Clean and Care section
• After filling the tank with water, press
and hold the clean indicator/reset
button until the red LED turns off
